Nexment ("we", "us", "our") operates the website nexment.in and the Nexment digital products marketplace. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information from users ("you") who visit or use our platform.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account registration: Name, email address, phone number.
- Creator applications: Full name, email, class/college, achievements, proof documents or links, product descriptions.
- Payment information: Processed by Razorpay. Nexment does not store card or bank details. We only receive transaction confirmation.
- Creator payouts: UPI ID or bank account details for disbursing earnings.
- Product uploads: Digital files, descriptions, and metadata submitted by creators.
- Communications: Messages sent to our support team.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device type, browser, and operating system.
- IP address and approximate location (city/region level).
- Pages visited, time spent, clicks, and navigation paths.
- Download events and purchase history.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Payment confirmation from Razorpay.
- Authentication data if you use Google Sign-In.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your Nexment account.
- To verify creator credentials and review applications.
- To process purchases and deliver digital products.
- To disburse creator earnings.
- To send transactional emails (purchase confirmation, application status).
- To send product update notifications to buyers (only for products they have purchased).
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
- To improve platform features based on usage patterns.
- To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations.

3. Information Sharing & Disclosure
Nexment does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Firebase (database), Razorpay (payments), Google (authentication, analytics) — bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
- Legal compliance: If required by a court order, regulatory authority, or applicable Indian law.
- Platform safety: To investigate credible reports of fraud, plagiarism, or policy violations involving your account.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, users will be notified before data is transferred to a new entity.
Public creator profiles: Creator names, verified achievement badges, and product listings are publicly visible on the platform. This is necessary for the marketplace to function.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers, which comply with international security standards including ISO 27001. We implement:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
- Firebase Security Rules to restrict database access.
- Minimal data retention — we keep only what is necessary for platform operation.
No system is completely secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
5. Cookies & Tracking
Nexment uses cookies and similar technologies for:
- Authentication: Keeping you signed in.
- Session management: Cart, purchases, and download history.
- Analytics: Understanding how users navigate the platform (via Google Analytics).
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect platform functionality including the ability to purchase or download products.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update inaccurate information via your account settings or by contacting us.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time.

7. Children's Privacy
Nexment is intended for students aged 12 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 12 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 12 has registered without consent, please contact us and we will promptly delete their account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Nexment after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Short version: By using Nexment, you agree to these rules. Creators must be genuine, sell original work, and be honest. Buyers agree to the no-refund policy before purchase. We reserve the right to remove content or accounts that violate these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Nexment platform (nexment.in), creating an account, purchasing a product, or submitting a creator application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Nexment ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
2. Platform Description
Nexment is a digital products marketplace connecting verified student creators with buyers who are students or learners. Nexment facilitates transactions between creators and buyers but is not a party to those transactions.
Nexment does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a specific purpose of any product sold on the platform. Products are created and uploaded by independent creators.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others.
- You must be at least 12 years old to use Nexment. Users under 18 should have parental awareness of their use.
- Nexment reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Buyer Terms
- Purchases on Nexment are for personal, non-commercial use only unless explicitly stated otherwise in a product listing.
- Purchased products are delivered to your Nexment account library immediately upon successful payment verification.
- You may not redistribute, resell, share, upload, or sublicense purchased products in any form.
- Products are licensed to you, not sold. Nexment and the original creator retain ownership.
- You agree to the No Refund Policy (Section 9) before completing any purchase.
5. Creator Terms
To sell on Nexment, you must:
- Complete the creator verification process and provide accurate credential proof.
- Only upload original content that you personally created or have the right to sell.
- Ensure your products are accurate, complete, and as described in the listing.
- Not upload plagiarised content, content copied from other platforms, or content that infringes any third-party copyright.
- Not misrepresent your credentials, academic record, or the quality of your products.
- Respond to buyer support queries or complaints in a reasonable time when escalated by Nexment.
Nexment reserves the right to reject, remove, or delist any product at its discretion without prior notice. Creators whose products are removed for policy violations will not be compensated for lost sales.
6. Payments & Payouts
Buyer Payments
- All payments are processed securely via Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
- Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payment confirmation is required before product access is granted.
Creator Payouts
- Nexment charges a platform commission of 20% per sale. Founding Creators receive a permanently reduced rate of 10%.
- Creators retain 80% (or 90% for Founding Creators) of each sale.
- Payouts are processed weekly via UPI or bank transfer.
- Minimum payout threshold is ₹100. Earnings below this are held until the threshold is reached.
- Creators must provide accurate UPI or bank details. Nexment is not responsible for failed payouts due to incorrect information.
7. Intellectual Property
Creator content: Creators retain full ownership of their original work. By listing on Nexment, creators grant Nexment a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, market, and deliver their content through the platform.
Nexment platform: All trademarks, logos, interface designs, and software powering Nexment are owned exclusively by Nexment. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the platform.
Reporting infringement: If you believe a product on Nexment infringes your copyright, email nexmentstore@gmail.com with supporting evidence. We will investigate within 48 hours.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Upload, sell, or share plagiarised or stolen content.
- Submit false credentials during creator verification.
- Manipulate ratings or reviews with fake accounts.
- Use automated bots or scripts to access or scrape the platform.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit any part of the platform.
- Engage in any activity that disrupts platform availability for other users.
- Use purchased content for commercial redistribution or resale.
- Harass or abuse other users or Nexment staff.
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.
9. No Refund Policy
⚠ All sales on Nexment are final. We do not offer refunds on digital product purchases. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Exceptions apply only in the following cases:
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same product due to a technical error.
- Non-delivery: Your purchase was confirmed by Razorpay but the product was not unlocked in your account within 24 hours.
To report an exception, email nexmentstore@gmail.com within 48 hours of the purchase. We will investigate and resolve genuine cases within 24 hours.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nexment is not liable for:
- The accuracy, completeness, or quality of any product sold on the platform.
- Loss of data, earnings, or opportunity arising from platform downtime or technical failure.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Nexment.
Nexment's total aggregate liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by that user to Nexment in the 30 days preceding the claim.
11. Termination
Nexment may suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time for:
- Violation of these Terms.
- Fraudulent or misleading activity.
- Inactivity for more than 12 months (after notice).
Upon termination, your access to purchased products may be revoked. Creators will receive any pending earnings owed at the time of termination, unless the account was terminated for fraud.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. We encourage resolution through direct contact before pursuing legal remedies.
